Thanksgiving is a great time to spend with family and friends, reflecting on your blessings. We know that residential property management may not seem like something to be thankful for, but our roots are deeply planted in real estate, and it has provided for us for many years, and that causes us to reflect and be grateful.
Our story starts with our grandfather, who had another profession as a photographer, but had the wisdom to see that real estate was a great investment that would start a professional and financial legacy for his family. In all, he bought 7 properties and then his daughter followed in his footsteps and continued buying property based on the knowledge that he passed down.
Eventually, we (the grandkids) grew up and started to help with all facets of managing the properties, from finding tenants to handling maintenance issues. We learned in the trenches how to deal with hard issues such as financial records and evictions, and from that process figured out ways to make having a rental property less stressful and more profitable.
Now, we want to help other people start a legacy for their own families. Real estate is a sound investment, because whether the economy is strong or weak, people need a place to live. We’ve had the opportunity to learn from the best, and now we can use our knowledge to help other people. From finding the right property to renting it out and making a profit, a real estate investment doesn’t have to be overwhelming with the right people on your side.
